Marbled Glass Mosaic Flowers
These pieces were created for Flower Power, a group show at Blue Triangle Gallery in Somerville, MA in July 2026. The show provided an opportunity for me to innovate a way to showcase my marbled glass utilizing the required wooden panel provided by the gallery. The challenge resulted in the creation of three marbled glass mosaics made with oil based enamel on glass, which was then broken, adhered to the wooden flower-shaped panel, and finished with grout.
The small pieces are 6"x6" and feature a diamond and triangle shape. The larger piece is 12" x 12" and features a design derived from medieval Armenian architecture rendered by Armen Kyurkchyan.
